Built in Nepal, for Nepali schools

Cashless payments for schools.

Students pay at the school canteen by tapping their ID card or phone. Parents top up from home. The school sees every rupee — without anyone counting notes at the end of the day.

Running its first pilot at Radheshyam School.

How it works

A tap at the counter, and everyone has the record.

  1. 1

    A parent tops up

Money goes into the student's wallet from home — no cash sent to school.

  2. 2

    The student taps

An NFC school ID card, or a QR code on a phone, at the canteen counter.

  3. 3

    Everyone sees it

The student, the parent, the merchant and the school office — the same record, instantly.

For the school

Stop counting cash at the canteen.

  • Every purchase recorded against the student who made it
  • Merchant accounts for the canteen, stationery shop, uniform and books
  • A double-entry ledger and a full audit trail behind every figure
  • An admin console your office staff run themselves

For parents

Know what your child actually spends.

  • Top up the wallet from home instead of sending cash to school
  • See what was bought, and where, on the day it happens
  • Set the wallet's PIN policy for chip taps
  • One wallet across the canteen, the shop and school fees

For school merchants

Serve the queue faster.

  • Accept a tap or a scan instead of handling notes and change
  • Every sale reconciled automatically, no end-of-day counting
  • Withdraw takings to a verified bank account
  • Works on the phone the counter already has

Where we are

Honest about what is live.

Nepfex Pay is a production platform. The wallet, student cards, merchant accounts, KYC, the double-entry ledger, the admin console and the API all run today, and a school can use them within its own campus.

What is not switched on is money crossing the Nepfex boundary — topping a wallet up from a bank and paying merchant takings out to one. Those are refused rather than simulated, and stay that way until the regulatory position, a licensed payment partner, a settlement bank and customer-fund safeguarding are all in place.

  • Student wallets and ledger
  • NFC card and QR payments
  • School merchant accounts
  • KYC and admin console
  • Integration API
  • Bank top-ups — pending activation
  • Merchant payouts — pending activation
